Introducing myself, I started childhood in the 70's enjoying a huge variety of sports, football, athletics, Rugby for Wolverhampton, many forms of martial arts and boxing. My career into physiotherapy happened some 25 years ago, when I realised the sport that I enjoyed being Muay Thai Boxing was never going to pay me enough financially. It was during these times whilst with a great friend, who became World Muay Thai Champion, that I was able to meet another physiotherapist, who's advice helped set me on the course to where I find myself today, bringing a totally unique set of diagnostic skills, that will not be found elsewhere, additionally obtained from a diverse array of other professions, being a fully qualified, mechanic and MOT tester, Plumber, plasterer, Part P electrician and teacher. These many strings to my bow helped me to both develop, and set my diagnostic and communication skills to an extremely high grade amongst my piers. During my time as a physiotherapist I have spent in excess of a £100k (truly do not want to add up the real costs) on courses, hand picking those who taught me. Their names appear on my qualifications and CPD, that you will be able to see on my YouTube videos and across the walls of the clinic. Please watch the video to see the names of those that taught me, as they truly are the greats within their diverse fields, and wrote the books on these subjects. There are over 60 plus qualifications within just the field of physiotherapy alone, Osteomyology, other allied professions as far East as Japanese and Chinese Acupuncture and Medicine that I add to annually.
There is a very long list of places I studied through out my career from Dudley College where I eventually taught sports Therapy Massage, Cannock College Psychology, sports sciences, Sports Massage, Anatomy and Physiology, Indian head massage, Leisure an tourism, Wolverhampton and Birmingham University, Northern Institute of Massage, Liverpool Society of Musculoskeletal Medicine, Harley Street of London, Osteomyology Association, and many other highly respected institutes and professional bodies within this industry you will discover amongst the dynamic array of certificates and CPD's. I always ensure an up to date First Aid Qualification every 3 years also.
